Long-Covid Companionship

trauma informed. somatic & play-led. peer support.

I am Kayla Arnone, your LC companion. I am a group facilitator and somatic practitioner (TRE® certified). I create spaces of community support for those with sensitive systems (HSPs), those living with Long-Covid/chronic illnesses and caregivers.

Virtual Support Group

Every Monday and Friday @ 1p.m. CST; Every first Saturday of the month @ 1 p.m. CST

Long Covid Companionship is a supportive virtual group space for those navigating the challenges of Long COVID. As your peer support facilitator, I draw from my personal experience as a Covid long hauler and my professional training in somatic, creative, and attachment-based practices. This virtual space is a warm, inviting environment where fellow Long-haulers can feel heard, supported, and cared for. With a foundation rooted in attachment theory and nurturing elements from my background as an early childcare giver, these group sessions combine heartfelt conversation with soothing practices like art, sensory activities, and gentle movement. These activities are designed to foster connection, comfort, and healing in a compassionate, community-centered space.

In Between

Virtual Support Group~ Every Thursday @ 1pm CST

In Between is a virtual group designed for those navigating the relentless cycle of hospital visits, doctor’s appointments, and the uncertainties of chronic illness. We recognize that systemic issues of patriarchy and white supremacy culture are the driving forces behind ableism, intensifying the challenges we face. This group is for those in the liminal spaces of illness, where answers often seem out of reach. Here, you’ll find a compassionate environment to share your frustrations and release the grief that accompanies uncertainty. Whether you need to vent, connect, or simply be in the presence of others who truly understand, this group offers a place to feel seen and supported. Join us in a space where you don’t have to carry it all alone. *This is for both caregivers and those with chronic illness.

T.R.E.® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)

Virtual Therapy Groups and Individual Sessions~ email for info

As a certified TRE® practitioner, offer both individual and group sessions to teach TRE®, a powerful tool for healing. Additionally, I collaborate with therapists to provide virtual TRE® instruction within trauma support groups. So, what is TRE®? Trauma Release Exercise (TRE®) is grounded in the concept that our bodies can store tension and stress, particularly from traumatic experiences. This practice helps release stored tension through exercises that trigger neurogenic tremors. These tremors are the body's way of calming down the nervous system and restoring a sense of balance and well-being. T.R.E. can be a gentle yet profound method for reducing stress, enhancing emotional resilience, and supporting overall healing.
